Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing client care, performing therapy execution and client education activities to an assigned group of clients.
- Performs continuing education and research to achieve quality client care.
- Conscientious in providing therapy recommendations based on evaluation of the client\xe2\x80\x99s condition.
- May work in various settings within company ranging from special schools to employment or training and development
centres. - May also work as part of collaborative, interdisciplinary teams which may include teachers, training officers, psychologists, social workers, physiotherapists and speech therapists.
- Initiative and be sensitive to the needs of clients.
- Should possess communication and problem-solving skills.
Period:
- Permanent
- Queenstown
- Mon to Thu: 8.30am to 6pm
- Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm
- up to $5000
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy from an institution recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council
- Experience working with persons with autism, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is preferred
- AHPC Full, Restricted or Conditional Registration
