Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Logistics/ Freight Forwarding
- Position Title: Ocean Export Officer/ Shipping Officer (Export)
- Working Location: Jurong East
- Working Hours: 5 days (M-F, 9 AM - 6 PM)
- Salary: Up to $3500 + Fixed transport allowance $120 + AWS
- Duration: Permanent Role
- Booking of shipment with carrier/ co-loaders.
- Arrange transport, fumigation etc., for customers/agents.
- Prepare Bill of Lading.
- Declare export permits, incl. certificate of origin (if required).
- Pre-Alert to destination offices/agents.
- Billing for deliveries, and verify vendors\' invoices and issue invoice to customers and agents.
- Check job costing for every file handled and ensure no loss.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the company\'s management from time to time.
- Minimum 1 year of related working experience, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
- Knowledge of Cargowise One System will be an added advantage.
