: Your background

  • Candidate must have a minimum 2-3 years of experience in derivatives confirmation, preferably on Equity Derivatives products.
  • Knowledge of ISDA Definitions, ISDA Master Confirmations Agreements and OTC Equity Derivatives products such as Options, Swaps and Accumulators/Decumulators.
  • A good team player, fast learner and ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
  • Good organizational skills and a basic understanding of Backoffice Operations responsibilities and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and is proactive in nature
  • Degree qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting or Law preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Product Suite

What you can expect The Global FCO (FX & Commodities Operations) and DCS (OTC Derivative Confirmation & Settlement) team perform end to end confirmation and settlements processes. Within APAC FCO and DCS, our team provides multiple services such as trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over-the-Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations. The APAC Equity and Commodity Derivative Operations team is currently looking for an associate for the Team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Equity Derivatives Confirmation functions in APAC region. This is a highly challenging role which provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse team, and learning the processes for Equity derivative confirmations. This role is based in Singapore and the candidate will be working with the documentation team in Singapore. The candidate will draft and execute ISDA legal confirmations relating to Equity derivative products for Accumulators and Decumulators and also actively participates in team projects and initiatives. This is a highly challenging role which provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse team. Team and Individual goals are set within a target and volume-based environment requiring leadership and motivational skills to work collectively to achieve them.
What you will do

Daily duties will be comprised of the following but are not limited to:
  • Drafting and review of legal confirmations issued in accordance with ISDA Definitions.
  • Due diligence in verifying the economic and legal terms of the ISDA legal confirmation against the trade booking and term sheet.
  • Liaise with Legal, Credit, and Front Office teams in resolving documentation related queries and creating confirmation templates.
  • Constant review and enhancement of work processes.
  • Participate in both internal projects and industry-driven projects relating to documentation.
  • Build and develop excellent client relationships.
