Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.Responsibilities:Management of Market ExceptionsSupport of Trade Matching activities for Securities and Cash ReinvestmentsEscalation of breaks and issues with daily activities associated with 9 Asian marketsExpand the effective usage of Compare tools Equilend and Pirum to enhance the Agency Securities Lending Control environment.Daily management of core reconciliations both internally and externally.MIS Reporting including daily items and escalation of ageing items.Manage Stock and Cash exceptions and market and Client interest claim exposure for the team.Daily Management and control of restriction requests.Static maintenance to ensure system is updated at all times.Provide direction and management of Audit requirements and ensure team adherence.On-boarding new securities lending clients where applicableMaintain a pristine controls environment.Support for continued process improvement while maintaining high standards of work.Support project initiatives where applicable especially onboarding of New Operating system for the next 18 monthsAs a successful candidate, youxe2x80x99d ideally have the following skills and exposure:3-5 years relevant experienceBasic to intermediate level experience in a related roleIn-depth knowledge of securities processing, combined with a solid understanding of hedge fund industry standards and practicesCommunicates with tact and diplomacy in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive informationDeals with most problems independentlyHas some latitude to resolve complex issues related to the analysis of hedge fund activitiesPrevious experience useful within the securities lending industry and on dealing with clientsClient representatives or sub-custodians would be an added advantageExperience of different local market practices would also be an advantageStrong knowledge of system and product setKnowledge of equities, fixed income and other financial instruments (e.g., repos, tri-party repos, letters of credit, loan documentation, etc.) would be beneficialExperience of dealing with English speaking clients in a senior service roleExperience in conducting/managing systems UATGood team playerStrong knowledge of PC-based and mainframe computer systemsGood Excel, Access and PowerPoint skillsGood oral and communication skillsKnowledge of writing macros and use of Access database beneficialBachelorxe2x80x99s/University degree or equivalent experienceWorking at Citi is far more than just a job.
