What the role is:We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation team under the Wildlife Management Division. With a focus on wildlife centre operations management, the job will range from logistical and administrative support to rehabilitation and supportive care of wildlife.What you will be working on:You will be involved in the following duties:Assist with daily centre administrative operations, including maintaining of animal records and data analysis, using computer systems where necessary.Plan and provide enrichment activities for wildlife patients, including but not limited to creating enrichment devices and enclosure refurbishment.Provide supportive care of wildlife, such as treatment and handfeeding, on a shift-work basis.What we are looking for:Diploma in Veterinary Technology / Veterinary Bioscience or any other relevant disciplinePreferably with at least 1 year of relevant working experience working in an animal-related organizationCompetent in Microsoft Office systems, particularly Excel.Competent in the care of juvenile animals, particularly birds and mammals.Independent and able to work effectively with others in a team environmentAble to work after office hours on weekends and/or public holidays based on ad hoc requirementsPositive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skillsOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.
