Coverage varies by country.Citi provides access to an array of learning and development resources to help broaden and deepen your skills and knowledge as your career progresses.In this role, youxe2x80x99re expected to:Responsible for preparing and reviewing of investment funds financial statements to ensure disclosures are in accordance with applicable accounting standards and reporting jurisdictionResponsible for preparing and reviewing of risk-based capital reports for delivery to the clients on a timely basisWork closely with internal/external relevant stakeholders to ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial statements and risk-based capital reporting deliverablesDemonstrate ability to plan and manage assignments in a dynamic work environmentInteraction with auditors and/or clients are required from time to timeIdentify operational risk issues, control deficiencies, and recommend risk/control aversion measuresEngage in continuous knowledge development regarding regulatory updates in accounting standards, best practices and sharing with the relevant stakeholdersUndertake projects and UAT process relating to process enhancement, implementation of new systems and products, as requiredAs a successful candidate, youxe2x80x99d ideally have the following skills and exposure:Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree or higher in finance, accounting and/or related professional accounting qualificationsRecognized professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA or ACCA would be advantageousMinimum 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience, particularly in financial statements preparation and/or audit experience in an accounting firmFamiliarity with financial reporting requirements under IFRS and other applicable regulatory provisionsKnowledge on preparation of Net Asset Valuation for investment funds in fund accounting industry will be an advantage but not a mustAbility to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments to meet tight deadlinesAbility to work both independently and as a team playerGood analytical and problem-solving skills are essentialProficiency in MS Excel and Word is a must; whilst familiarity with Excel-Macro will be an advantageWorking at Citi is far more than just a job.
