Job Description
- Competitive remuneration package: Up to $5k basic + AWS + VB
- Location: Few mins walking distance from Bugis MRT
- Working hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
- 1 Year contract position
- Coordinate closely with 3PL service providers to ensure they meet performance goals and improve operations and costs.
- Collaborate with business units, legal, and EHS departments on trade controls.
- Communicate with government regulatory agencies regarding statutory requirements.
- Work with business units on SOPs, improvement projects, and specific needs.
- Ensure 3PL compliance with safety guidelines and conduct audits.
- Manage insurance coverage and claims processes.
- Conduct audits and checks at 3PL to ensure adherence to rules.
- Manage non-conformances and implement corrective measures.
- Support logistics procurement activities and act as a backup for the logistics team.
- Assist in small-value procurement processes for logistics services.
- Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics Management
- Min 1 year in logistics operations, including warehousing, distribution, and transport management, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Knowledge of licensing requirements and dangerous Goods Handling.
- Regional experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP.
