Leverage and expand your established industry network to execute profitable physical trades.
Understand the desks and group business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients
Drive market research for the desk and feed into the reports for the internal stakeholders
Maintain and enhance existing client relationships, making regular contact and tracking daily trading activities
Assist senior management in establishing sector-related policies and procedures.
Support a risk and compliance aware culture and comply with company policies
Exercise judgement and act with integrity, due care, skill and diligence and co-operate with the regulators and exchanges.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in petrochemical engineering, international trade, or economics.
At least 8 years of experience in international trade within the oil & gas industry, with a strong understanding of industry trends; industry client resources are preferred.
Familiarity with the specific trading processes and regulations of international fuel oil trade.
Strong market development, negotiation, communication, planning, and coordination skills.
Strong English and Mandarin listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, sufficient for use as a working language.
* Proficiency in MS Office and other office software applications.
