THE JOB

Role: Rates Developer - Singapore

The role is based in the Fixed Income Trade Capture Development team, whilst in frequent communications and liaison with the APAC front office sponsors to ensure the accommodation of local market currencies as well as contributing to its business growth and success.

You will primarily be focused on delivering change process to the UIs, Credit and Rates Trade Capture Systems, various databases as well as reporting & publication services. You will also have the opportunity to document, design, code and implement changes to the existing structures as such the Fixed Income Trading stacks.

Job Responsibilities

• Be involved in relevant stages of the project lifecycle such as qualification, data analysis, design, leading UAT testing including UX/ UI, as well as process and address any post implementation feedback.
• Actively engaging skills in C#/Core Java/Python together with SCM and build tools (GIT, TeamCity) in working on the server end.
• Build, maintain and improve relationship with Level 1&2 IT support team, whilst ensuring the provision of Level 3 support, all of which is aligned to standards of compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in the following Programming languages - C#, ASP.NET, JAVA, Python
• Understand databases (eg: Oracle) and write SQL Queries. Additional knowledge of JavaScript, Angular JS, VB.NET will be helpful in achieving job deliverables
• Prior work experience in a Banking/ Fixed Income environment and interactions with traders
• Basic working knowledge and understanding Structured Rates or Exotics Product
