Position: Oncologist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Oncologist to join our team in Singapore, specializing in diagnosing, treating, and providing care for patients battling various types of cancer. As an Oncologist, you will work in the fields of medical oncology, utilizing chemotherapy and other medications; surgical oncology, involving the surgical removal of tumors and surrounding tissues; and radiation oncology, administering radiation therapy to patients.

Responsibilities:

Patient Consultation: Collaborate closely with patients, explaining cancer diagnoses, staging, and treatment options. Offer support in managing the side effects and symptoms associated with cancer and its treatments.

Leadership: Lead a comprehensive cancer treatment team consisting of diverse healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless patient care and effective communication among team members.

Treatment Coordination: Develop and coordinate personalized treatment plans for patients, which may include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, or a combination of these modalities.

Radiation Therapy: Administer radiation therapy to patients, carefully monitoring and managing their progress.

Pain Management: Assist patients in managing pain associated with their condition, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Surgical Procedures: Perform surgical operations to safely remove tumors and assess whether cancer has metastasized from the primary site.

Administrative Tasks: Handle essential administrative and clerical duties, such as maintaining accurate records of test results, prescribing medications, providing informative resources about cancer, and monitoring the progress of treatment plans.

Medical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field of oncology.
Compassion: Demonstrate a caring and empathetic approach when interacting with patients facing challenging diagnoses.
