OpenText Developer (8+ years experience)
Location: Singapore
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced OpenText Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade document and records management solutions using OpenText Archive Center, Content Server, and xECM. This role involves architecting integrations with platforms like SAP and Microsoft 365, leading migrations, and customizing workflows to align with complex business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design

• Design and implement integrated document management solutions using OpenText Archive Center, Content Server, and xECM.
• Define and execute legacy content migration strategies into Archive Center and Content Server within the xECM framework.
• Architect scalable and robust integration solutions between OpenText, SAP, and Microsoft 365 for end-to-end document lifecycle management.

Records Management

• Apply deep knowledge of records management and physical records management to ensure compliance and traceability.
• Design metadata structures, retention schedules, and governance workflows.

Custom Development & Workflow Engineering

• Develop and configure custom workflows, business logic, and modules within OpenText platforms to address unique business scenarios.
• Build Web Reports, Live Reports, and develop OScripts for solution customization and automation.

Smart UI Expertise

• Configure and customize Smart UI to enhance user experience and usability within the Content Server ecosystem.

Integration & Interoperability

• Lead the design and deployment of integration layers for seamless interoperability between OpenText components and enterprise platforms (SAP, M365).
• Ensure secure, high-performance data exchange and document synchronization across systems.

Upgrade & Deployment Leadership

• Manage the planning, execution, and validation of upgrades and new deployments across Archive Center, Content Server, and xECM modules.
• Ensure minimal disruption and full alignment with business objectives and compliance policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with business users, enterprise architects, SAP and Microsoft teams to co-develop scalable, reliable, and future-ready content management solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and support teams on OpenText best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• 8+ years of experience in OpenText solutions including Archive Center, Content Server, and xECM.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Extended ECM and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Smart UI, OScript, Web Reports, and Live Reports.
• Proven experience in records and physical records management implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead upgrades, migrations, and custom solution development across enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
