Job Description
Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Logistics/Transportation sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Sea Freight Operation Assistant to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central- easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
Manage and update shipment data accurately in internal and external systems Monitor incoming shipments, permit declarations, and dangerous goods compliance, ensuring all regulatory and security procedures are followed. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and overseas offices to handle customer bookings, resolve cargo irregularities, and support claims processes. Verify and process freight invoices, maintain billing accuracy, and ensure customer-specific SOPs and global standards are met. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or other relevant field of studies. Minimum 1~2 years of working experience in a similar position in Freight Forwarding
