• Industry/ Organization Type: Logistics/ Freight Forwarding
• Position Title: Operation Assistant (Sea Export)
• Working Location: Changi
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Fri, 8.30am \xe2\x80\x93 6pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and handle daily Sea Export shipments.
• Ensure customer requirements are met and documentation is accurate and precise.
• Resolve shipment issues.
• Communicate with customers, shipping lines, co-loaders, transport team, trucking partners and overseas offices in order to ensure smooth pickup/ delivery of the shipments.
• Manage documentation flow such as bills of lading, certificates, licences, etc.
• Prepare billing, ensure the relevant charges billed correctly to customer, prepare payment vouchers, verifications of vendor costings, closing of all shipment files and filling of documents.
• Any other task assigned by the superior.

• GCE \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 Levels / Diploma in relevant field of studies.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in handling Sea Freight export duties in a Freight Forwarding organization.
• Knowledge in freight forwarding, export procedure and permit declaration.
• Computer literate.
• Familiar with incoterms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to function as a team player.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and dangerous goods would be desirable.
• Willing to work OT if required.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
