Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight forwarding industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions with clients and carriers.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for expansion.
Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional activities and campaigns.
Operations Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage end-to-end freight forwarding processes, including booking, documentation, and shipment tracking.
Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
Prepare and verify shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
Ensure compliance with international and local shipping regulations.
Optimize operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions for reporting and auditing purposes.
Customer Service:
Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Provide clients with regular updates on shipment status.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain sales and operations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Proficiency in freight management software and MS Office suite.
