Job Description

My client is a global commodities warehousing and freight forwarding company including logistics business. Active in more than 30 countries, offer complete logistics, storage and supply chain solutions, tailor-made to our customer requirements for various commodities including metals and minerals, soft commodities, chemicals, renewables, oil & gas, project and general cargo. Currently, they are looking for a Operation Supervisor (Warehouse) responsible for overseeing daily operational activities to ensure efficiency, productivity and compliance with company procedures. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating workflow,optimizing processes and ensuring smooth operations in the operations department.

Job description:

Oversee day-to-day operational activities as well as warehouse planning to ensure timely and accurate execution of shipments Monitor process workflow, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., customer service) to support business needs Coordinate with service provider and ensure they check the weighing scale on daily basis and do test weight before they proceed with weighing Maintenance and Housekeeping of warehouse, equipment and resources Performing stock checks to ensure stock accuracy and integrity Attending to all audits, both internal and external Motivate the Operations team to ensure operational excellence, high employees' engagement and service improvement is achieved Any other tasks as assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory role in the logistics industry Based in Tuas; 5.5 days work week Able to perform overtime as and when required Meticulous, responsible and positive work attitude Mature and able to work independently with minimal supervision Able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion

Pay: $3,200.00 - $4,200.00 per month
