This role supports the Operations team by ensuring smooth daily operations, compliance with regulatory requirements, and accurate product specification management. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, conducting internal audits, and liaising with stakeholders to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update operational records, SOPs, training logs, and certification documents (FSSC, Halal, SFA, ISO).
Support compliance and food safety through internal audits, corrective action reports, and traceability checks (labels, batch coding, FIFO, allergen charts).
Prepare and manage Product Specifications (PS), ensuring accuracy and compliance with FSSC 22000, Halal, and SFA requirements.
Liaise with chefs, production, and purchasing teams to verify product and ingredient details.
Coordinate lab tests, calibration, pest-control records, and staff food safety training.
Handle customer correspondence, reports, and product-related documentation.
Any other job-related ad-hoc duties / projects as assigned by Management
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in Food industry
Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems (FSSC 22000, SFA regulations).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of Halal certification will be an added advantage.
