Job Description

:

Lead the transition and operational readiness for the modernisation project (COBOL Java backend, React frontend), ensuring a smooth cutover and sustainable operations. Define, implement, and continuously improve operational processes, including monitoring, alerting, escalation procedures, and structured support handover to the maintenance team. Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring high system availability and stability. Oversee cutover planning and knowledge transfer activities, facilitating seamless transition from the project delivery team to the long-term support and maintenance team. Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and operational standards, embedding best practices into day-to-day support activities. Establish and manage SLAs/OLAs with cross-functional teams, driving accountability and minimizing downtime and business disruption. Background in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management. Develop and manage an exit plan to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities, knowledge, and documentation should vendor handover or contract closure occur. Actively participate in team and stakeholder meetings, providing input on operational readiness and service delivery updates. Prepare and present service delivery reports and meeting materials, ensuring transparency and alignment with stakeholders. Lead and facilitate maintenance project management meetings, driving decisions, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and service levels.
