Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Support transition and operational readiness activities for modernisation projects (COBOL Java backend, React frontend). Define, maintain, and improve operational processes, including monitoring, alerting, escalation, and documentation. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes. Contribute to cutover preparation, knowledge transfer, and ensure operational teams are equipped for post go-live support. Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and operational standards. Track and report SLA/OLA metrics, escalating breaches or risks to the Operations Lead. Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BCP) activities, including test execution and documentation. Prepare service delivery reports, meeting materials, and operational dashboards for management updates. Actively engage in maintenance and support meetings, documenting action items and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Assist in exit plan execution, ensuring complete knowledge capture and documentation for vendor or team handover.

Mandatory skills:

Strong experience in leading application operations and production support for modernisation systems. Hands-on expertise with COBOL and Java-based applications, including operational readiness for modernisation projects. Solid knowledge of AWS services, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
