Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Preferably 3 years of experience working in school

\xc2\xb7 Preferably NITEC/Diploma in related field

\xc2\xb7 Well-versed in AV equipment, AV setup and deployment

\xc2\xb7 Ability to provide IT troubleshooting



1. Public Address (PA) System

\xc2\xb7 Provide PA support and assist to train PA crew (comprising student volunteers) to take charge of Public Address System equipment/service during Assembly and school events.

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the maintenance of PA systems in school \xe2\x80\x93 monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate unresolved problems to relevant vendors; coordinate with vendors on site where installation and repair works are required.

2. Audio-Visual Resources

\xc2\xb7 Manage AV equipment during all key school events.

\xc2\xb7 Handle all AV set-up requests for school events \xe2\x80\x93 ensure requests by staff and external parties (pre-approved by P/VP) are met.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain inventory and loan records of AV and PA-related equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Provide consultation to HOD (ICT) on the AV needs of the school and work with vendors to propose solutions that meet the PA / AVA needs of the school in terms of technical specifications and market pricing.

\xc2\xb7 Assist the HOD (ICT) in the purchase of AV equipment and services based on school\xe2\x80\x99s needs (through bulk tenders, small value purchase and calling quotations), bearing in mind the compliance guidelines for school on procurement.

\xc2\xb7 Provide assistance in the condemnation of AV resources.

\xc2\xb7 Manage AV equipment in classrooms and all other special rooms and monitor the equipment usage and maintenance on a termly basis.

3. Broadcast System

\xc2\xb7 Provide support for broadcast studio usage; support live broadcast and video coverage for school activities; Train media club students on live broadcast system.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain the school TV broadcast system.

4. Other duties

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the troubleshooting of simple IT issues and assist the Desktop engineers in the diagnosis of IT problems, where possible.

\xc2\xb7 Provide support to teachers in printing, laminating, duplicating CD and video services

\xc2\xb7 Provide support to teachers in teaching and learning, as instructed by HOD(ICT)
