Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Operations Executive - Ocean Freight Import

to support import logistics operations. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely shipment handling, accurate documentation, and efficient delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily ocean freight import operations, ensuring timely processing of shipments. Coordinate with customers, vendors, carriers, and overseas counterparts to manage shipment arrangements and resolve issues promptly. Verify vendor costing and ensure accurate data entry into the system. Prepare and issue billing and invoices according to agreed quotations and timelines. Manage import permit declarations and related shipping documentation. Provide backup support to team members during absence or leave periods. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management to support operational efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in

in logistics/freight forwarding industry

Good knowledge of sea freight processes, Incoterms, and import documentation. Familiar with shipping procedures and local import regulations. Strong communication and coordination skills with a customer-focused mindset. A team player with good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
