Job Overview: Operations Executive (Visual Merchandiser / Artist)

We seek a talented and creative Retail Visual Merchandiser / Operations Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for backend operations, including implementing visual merchandising strategies to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand\'s image and target audience
• Design the branding, packaging and shopping experience at our stores
• Create visually appealing displays and arrange products in an aesthetically pleasing manner to encourage customer engagement and drive sales
• Develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to attract customers and increase sales
• Monitor and analyze sales data and customer feedback to continually improve the visual merchandising and marketing strategies
• Maintain a high level of visual standards across all retail locations
• Train and develop retail staff on visual merchandising and marketing techniques
• Ensure that retail staff follows a cleaning schedule such that the stores are visually appealing at all times
• Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, as well as internal stakeholders on the set-up and teardown of campaign VM and promotional visual displays
• Assists in stock take for shop and warehouse when required
• Assist in buying for selected categories

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in marketing, visual merchandising, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in visual merchandising and marketing in a retail environment
• Strong understanding of retail trends and customer behaviour
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma
• Able to draw manga characters and loves art
• Flexibility to work on weekends or outside of regular business hours as needed
