Job Description

To support Senior Operations Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursing home operations, facilities and other supporting duties:


Supervise all staff responsible for housekeeping, kitchen operations, and laundry services Develop and maintain an inventory of equipment, including items under warranty or requiring warranty coverage Assist in developing and managing preventive maintenance programs for facilities and IT infrastructure Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all facility-related items and infrastructure Prepare and submit grant applications to Governmental Bodies eg Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) and Ministry of Health (MOH), for upcoming nursing home projects Coordinate project activities to ensure timely and successful completion Establish and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) Assign duties to staff and supervise their performance to ensure adherence to established cleanliness standards Investigate complaints related to housekeeping services or equipment and take corrective actions; perform cleaning tasks during emergencies or staff shortages Identify, negotiate with, and manage vendors and service providers Maintain comprehensive records of all equipment, facilities and contract files, including tracking contract renewals and ensuring timely licensing updates Retrieve and review CCTV footage as needed Investigate facility damages, determine responsibility, and assess applicable charges Ensure accurate documentation of all building defects and corresponding repair work Coordinate with appointed vendors Provide basic IT support Any other ad-hoc administrative works as assigned.

Job Requirement

Possess GCE 'A' Levels / Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Business or Equivalent; Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in similar capacity; Is organized and have good interpersonal skills; Is pro-active, independent and able to work with minimal supervision; * Able to work on-site in Bukit Merah.
