Operations Lead Analyst

Job Purpose: Use data analytics with an emphasis on business operations and customer insights to provide advanced professional input to complex Data Measurement & Reporting assignments/projects. Provides analytical and operational reporting, business performance measurement and management dashboards, and fulfills data and measurement requests from business partners. Responsible for managing advanced data/analytics projects that are used to develop actionable insights and recommendations.

Reports to: COO Singapore

Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results:

  • Thought leadership towards C-Suite leaders to support operations regional and global analytics transformation projects
  • Act as a bridge between technology and business domains, managing business critical process improvement and change management projects
  • Identify opportunities for improvements based on fact-based analysis, playing a key role integrating insights into operational processes
  • Prototype, iterate and embed streamlining solutions within the organisation
  • Manage requirements for large programs with complex cross-functional dependencies
  • Develop an understanding of how data is captured, stored, integrated (and flows) through applications/databases and consumed by end users
  • Coach and develop colleagues in data literacy and analytical methodology

  • Non-organic growth has created fragmentation of systems and process
  • Source data to enable analysis does not reside on any one single system
  • Multi-team and stakeholder engagement increases complexity

Experience/Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Management, Data Science or related field.
  • 10-15+ years experience in the analytics domain with an emphasis on business operations and customer insights
  • Strong business acumen, i.e understanding key operational metrics of the business and impact on profit and loss, revenue, customer retention, etc.
  • A data-driven personality, uses deep analytics knowledge to advise functional leaders and provide thought leadership
  • Able to think strategically and act tactically
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical applications and solutions
  • Proven track record in leading & implementing impactful data and reporting visualization projects
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to navigate an evolving data landscape with a broad partner network
  • Proactive team-player who thrives in a cross-functional, cross-cultural, hybrid (face-to-face and remote) team environment
  • A strategic thinker with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and obsessive approach to execution
  • Demonstrated expertise in data manipulation (SQL) and architectural design for analytics
  • Experience across the analytics pipeline (Data Mapping, Integration, Architecture, Analytics, Visualization, Insights)
  • Experience defining technical solutions for complex business problems; designing/prototyping front-end visualisation (PowerBI / Tableau etc) using UX design principles
  • Experience running UAT, UX and end-user training
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong documentation & presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and compelling way using the most appropriate approach to cater to different stakeholders with varying degrees of data and analytics knowledge and experience
  • Ability to upskill organisational data literacy and interface with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Can lead and train a team in performing analysis activities to deliver to defined objectives
  • Experienced in coordinating projects across multiple time zones is a PLUS
  • Previous experience working with data science and reporting teams is a PLUS
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a PLUS
