Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership & Efficiency
Oversee daily operations of vending routes, ensuring machines are stocked, functional, and revenue-optimized.
Implement predictive maintenance strategies to minimize machine downtime.
Optimize route planning and logistics to reduce costs and improve service levels.
2. Financial & Contract Management (Critical Addition)
Ensure all agreements (site contracts, vendor deals, client SLAs) are documented, renewed, and complied with.
Oversee billing, payment reconciliation, and financial reporting for the unit.
Analyze cost per machine, shrinkage, and profitability by location/route.
Identify waste reduction and margin improvement opportunities.
3. Team & Vendor Management
Recruit, train, and manage route drivers, technicians, and warehouse staff.
Set performance benchmarks, conduct reviews, and implement productivity incentives.
Manage supplier relationships (snacks, beverages, parts) to ensure cost, quality, and delivery compliance.
4. Inventory & Supply Chain
Maintain optimal stock levels using demand forecasting.
Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) for perishable items.
Negotiate bulk purchase discounts with suppliers.
5. Compliance & Safety
Ensure food safety, health regulations, and labor laws are followed.
Conduct safety audits for warehouses, vehicles, and machines.
6. Customer & Stakeholder Relations
Resolve escalated client complaints (e.g., understocking, payment disputes).
Build long-term partnerships with site owners (offices, malls, schools).
Regularly review customer preferences to adjust product mix.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 3 years in vending operations (1 year in leadership).
Financial Acumen: Budgeting, P&L analysis, contract management.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in route optimization software, inventory systems.
