Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with both internal and external customers pertaining to operations.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly targets to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key metrics such as KPIs and operational deliverables.
  • Responsible for keeping customers satisfied and delivering exceptional support on a daily basis.
  • Liaise and coordinate between the customer and internal teams to meet planned demands/targets as well as address gaps quickly and amicably.
  • Understand contractual obligations, challenge the norms and analyse data to develop strategies for meeting customer expectations.
  • Pursue new business opportunities and create effective pipelines for forecasting and revenue growth.
  • Present to management on the status, challenges and outcomes of customer engagements and plans to meet targets, supported by data wherever deemed possible.
  • Undertake additional assignments or duties as directed by the management.
  • Work with HR to determine, recruit, interview, select and hire an appropriate number of employees.
  • Coach and develop staff including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
Skills & Experience
  • Degree from a recognised institution of any discipline
  • Preferably with Operations Management or Supply Chain Logistics background.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation and customers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple operations/projects/assignments at a time while giving due attention to details.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and possess effective time-management skills to meet deadlines and planned deliverables.
  • Possesses leadership, man management, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as be able to relate to others on a professional level.
  • Able to work independently with an interest in keeping things organised as well as being a strong team player.
  • Candidates with experience in leadership positions will be considered favourably.
