Operations Manager (sea Freight) / Global Mnc / East

Job Description
Our client is a Global MNC in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Operations Manager (Sea Freight) to join their Operations team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for being in charge of the company’s Operations team
- Responsible for designing/implementing the required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure high productivity and standards within the team
- Responsible for liaising with the various internal departments on the company’s various standard operating procedures, and ensuring its compliance
- Responsible for handling the company’s various disputes with the relevant internal/external stakeholders
- In charge of reviewing/analyzing the company’s operational capacity, ensuring that high quality service is maintained
- In charge of the department’s recruitment, and the current team’s training and development so as to develop/maintain a high-quality Operations team.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or other relevant field of studies (Relevant working experience can be considered as well)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Logistic/Freight Forwarding industry (Sea Freight)
- Relevant Supervisory Experience
