Operations Manager, Marketplace (Singapore)

This role will be based in Singapore and will be reporting to our Head of Marketplace. If you are looking for a place where you can gain hands-on exposure and have direct impact, then this may be the place for you! The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor - comfortable working independently, whilst working closely with the management team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will lead and manage the operational performance of all partners on the marketplace segment of the business
  • Work hand in hand with local Key Account Managers & Category Managers to ensure the best operational performance for vendors
  • Work closely with large retailers & suppliers to optimize assortment & item availability
  • Conduct regular in-store visits to monitor partner vendors\' operational activities, suggest improvement practices and identify operational improvements
  • Ensure smooth running operations of top accounts and ensure key operational metrics are met
  • Set up and propagate best practices across all vendors
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to strengthen operations
  • Support regional launches of vendor-related product features
  • Drive product improvements benefiting the creation and management of our vendor\'s menu
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • E-commerce or Retail industry experience preferred
  • Experience within Operations Management, Operations Analysis & Operations/Supply Chain Management would be a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with tableau, Excel and SQL would be a plus
  • Experience with on the ground (retail management) would be an advantage as well
  • Exposure to process improvements, quality tools and methods
  • Experience in defining and deploying content guidelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across functions and form strong relationships internally and externally and engage with stakeholders
  • Highly developed numeracy, statistical and reporting skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and manage information, data and trends
  • Results oriented and organised with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines and the ability to motivate others to deliver
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
