Job Description

• Position: Operations Manager/Excellence (LOGISTICS)
• Location: Sunview (Company transport from Boon Lay)
• Working hours: 5 days, Mon to Fri (8.30am to 6.00pm)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $8700 + AWS + Medical
• Duration: Perm
• Industry: Logistics - MNC

Main Responsibilities:

• Drive Key analysis to identify improvement initiatives across operations sup for process improvement, cost saving or operational efficiency at current facilities.
• Study current process to find opportunities for implementation of automations to either improve efficiency or save cost compared to current process.
• Develop project costs for approval by Management.
• Interface as required with the clients and various companies groups
• Worldwide Account Management and Operations Teams, project personnel, Business
• Development, Information Technology staff to fully and accurately define requirements and solution approach.
• Leverage, share and build company's knowledge of the specific vertical markets.
• Work closely with operation director and country general manager to implement operation improvement initiatives.
• Define and implement operation improvement roadmap
• Work on key operation areas to drive target achievement in the day-to-day operation including daily debottlenecking, metrics management and regular performance report
• Drive company operating System and train operations team on company principles.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain management, logistics, transportation management, distribution or in an industrial environment.
• Bachelor's degree in an Industrial Engineering field (or Supply Chain Management equivalent).
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and supply chain best practices such as Lean Management principals.
• Experience with logistics decision support and computer modeling software preferred.
• Operational experience required.
