The Operations Supervisor is integral to ensuring the safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency of the assigned lean line. This role demands a proactive problem solver who can develop mitigation plans and implement long-term solutions to maintain one-piece flow. The Operations Supervisor will lead and manage a team of technicians, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the lean line's performance. This role requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety:
+ Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and standards on the lean line.
+ Conduct risk assessments and develop lifting plans, assigning and training technicians as needed.
+ Develop and implement risk reduction projects aimed at minimizing safety risks.
Quality:
+ Uphold quality standards and practices throughout the lean line operations.
+ Guide technicians in maintaining high-quality output through effective training and coaching.
+ Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance product and process standards.
Delivery:
+ Monitor and optimize the lean line to achieve timely and efficient delivery performance.
+ Ensure smooth one-piece flow by resolving operational bottlenecks.
+ Collaborate with the team to streamline processes for better delivery outcomes.
Costs:
+ Manage overtime efficiently to control labor costs and achieve budgetary targets.
+ Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance cost-effectiveness of operations.
Upkeep and 5S:
+ Oversee the upkeep of the lean line, ensuring all equipment and machinery are functioning optimally.
+ Implement and maintain 5S principles to organize the workplace, promoting efficiency and safety.
+ Encourage and train team members to adhere to 5S practices, fostering a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a lean manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
Knowledge of safety standards and quality assurance practices.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop training plans.
