Job Scope:

Site Supervisor / Snr Superintendent / Site Manager Responsible for operating heavy machinery in a safe and effective manner

Core Responsibilities:

Safety & Health :

Operate all heavy machinery in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures Perform daily safety and maintenance checks Ensure heavy machinery is safely and securely stored Attend daily Toolbox Meeting Always wearing the necessary PPE while working on site. Practise workplace safety and always follow the safe work procedures

Operation of Machines :

Inform the Site Supervisor & Chief Mechanic of any requirements for maintenance and repair works. Always log in and log out on the data logger/ log book provided. Always stay together with the mechanic during any repair works. Ensure quality of work done Handle the machine with care. Clean heavy machinery as scheduled or as and when required Accept and perform any ad-hoc tasks given. Follow Site supervisors, Rigger signalman and banksman instruction and guidance while operating the machinery unless otherwise.

Technical Skills:

Primary education preferred with minimum 1 year of relevant experience Able to understand basic English and communicate with team members

Soft Skills:

Physically fit Good team player

Key Deliverables:

* Able to operate the heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury or damage to property
