Job Description

What the role is:
Join our Centre of Excellence (COE) within the HR & Payroll cluster as an Ops-Tech Specialist Trainee. The COE drives operational excellence through process improvements, automation, performance monitoring and conducting data analytics to enable better decision-making across VITAL's operations. This traineeship offers candidates an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital transformation and process optimisation within a government setting.
What you will be working on:
You will support the Centre of Excellence (COE) in: o Process automation using Robotics Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath o Dashboard development using tools like Power BI or similar data visualisation platforms to create meaningful insights for stakeholders o Data preparation and analysis including data cleansing, validation and transformation to support business intelligence initiatives o Process review and improvement by identifying streamlining opportunities and recommending solutions o Stakeholder engagement to understand business requirements and present findings
What we are looking for:

Experienced in the use of digital and data tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python or similar o Passion for technology and its practical applications in improving business processes o Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills o Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving digital landscapes
