Conduct comprehensive eye check-ups for customers.
Perform vision refraction for customers aged eight years and above.
Interpret and explain optical prescriptions accurately.
Edge lenses according to prescribed specifications.
Dispense and adjust spectacle frames to ensure proper fit and comfort.
Follow up on customer appointments and maintain accurate records.
Provide professional advice and optical consultation on suitable spectacles and lenses.
Manage daily shop operations including retail sales and customer service.
Handle inventory control and ensure stock levels are maintained.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Registered Optician with OOB (Pre-registered candidates are welcome!)* Possess at least Nitec in Opticianry.
Prior experience in optical retail is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
