What the role is:
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
You will be part of a team within the Department of Planning, Organisation & Sustainability (PODS) driving transformation and culture change within Singapore Polytechnic.
What you will be working on:

• Assist team in conceptualising and developing staff engagement initiatives

• Execute these staff engagement initiatives, both independently or as part of a team

• Conceptualise and execute graphic and web design for staff engagement-related communications, including simple website maintenance and troubleshooting
• Administrative and logistics support for staff engagement initiatives, including but not limited to participant registration, vendor liaison and ushering

What we are looking for:

• Diploma and above in Communications, Design, Events Management, Marketing or other adjacent fields will be advantageous

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in graphic/web design software, e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator (applicants with a portfolio of recent work will be considered favourably)

• Good communication, presentation and writing skills

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders

• Self-starter, able to work independently and proactively
