Job Summary



As an OS and Application Patching Engineer, you will contribute to Developing and implementing patch management strategies to ensure timely and effective patching of operating systems and applications. Identifying and assessing vulnerabilities in OS and applications and applying patches to mitigate risks.



Roles and responsibilities:


Plan, schedule, and perform patch management for Windows, Linux, and other OS platforms. Conduct vulnerability assessments and collaborate with the security team to remediate risks. Test patches in a controlled environment before deployment to production systems. Coordinate patching windows with application and infrastructure teams to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate documentation of patching activities, compliance reports, and rollback procedures. Troubleshoot issues related to patch deployment or post-patching failures.
