Job Overview

We are seeking skilled open source analyst to perform in-depth research and analysis based on topics and regions. The analyst primary role is to provide analysis of media articles collected from mainstream media & social media sources and provide detailed reports based on the findings of the research and analysis work. He/She is required to be familiar with OSINT tools and platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Gather information from publicly available sources on the internet, social media, and other open sources.
• Evaluate and analyze the collected data to identify relevant information, trends, and patterns.
• Assess potential risks and threats to specific organisations or entities based on the OSINT findings.
• Create detailed reports and briefings to communicate findings and insights to decision-makers within the organization.
• Continuously monitor open sources to stay updated on relevant information and emerging threats.
• Work with other teams, such as intelligence, law enforcement, or cybersecurity, to provide support and intelligence.
• Utilize OSINT tools and software to streamline data collection and analysis.
• Ensure that all data collection and analysis activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay current on the latest OSINT techniques and tools and provide training and guidance to other team members.

• Degree / Diploma in a related field such as Information Systems, Cyber or Engineering.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential to interpret data effectively.
• Proficiency in using OSINT tools and software, as well as a good understanding of online platforms and search techniques.
• Effective research skills to locate and gather information from various online sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey findings clearly to others.
• An understanding of legal and ethical considerations in OSINT, including privacy and data protection.
• Prior experience in intelligence analysis, or data analysis for research work is preferred
• The ability to adapt to evolving online platforms and tools and to stay updated on emerging threats and trends.
