Job Description

• Take responsibility, to assist the outlet manager and take charge of the shift in his/her absence
• To check manpower for each shift, paying particular attention to slow periods and peak periods.
• To provide training to service crew.
• To lead the service crew to ensure they perform their job tasks well.
• Motivate team members and maintain a high level of team spirit (or team cohesiveness)
• Ensure staff understand and adhere strictly to all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
• To keep record of staff attendance, absence, PH, annual leave, etc.
• To follow-up on issues not done and ensure proper channeling of these jobs.
• To be responsible for prevention of high breakages and maintain record on operations inventory.
• Handle guest complaints effectively and professionally. Inform Outlets Manager/GM on the nature of complaints.
• To manage and supervise all service of food and beverages in the outlet.
• Ensure that the brand values and standards are delivered and profitability achieved.
• Delivering superior guest services and ensuring absolute customer satisfaction
• To coordinate with the Kitchen Chef to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety of the operation
• To take responsibility to complete the work to the satisfaction of the Outlet Manager.
• To report to the Service Manager if there are any challenges, staff shortage, accidents, lost and found items, guests complaints, etc.
• To perform any other duties/tasks as and when required by the Service Manager.

Job Requirements
Education:

• Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Food & Beverage Service

Qualification

• With experience in the relevant role is an advantage
• Comfortable working long shifts if required and on weekends and PHs
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
