Key Teaching Requirements
Able to teach
Chinese in a structured, step-by-step manner (training provided if needed, as long as you are willing to learn closely)
Familiar with
Hanyu Pinyin
Familiar with
Chinese stroke names and correct stroke order
Able to break down characters clearly (pinyin, strokes, meaning)
Comfortable setting
clear learning and behaviour expectations
Patient, calm, and consistent in lesson delivery

Enjoy working with primary school children
Believe structure and routine help children learn better
Are open to learning reflective teaching methods
Prefer meaningful teaching over drilling worksheets
Are willing to receive feedback and improve your teaching

Training & Support
All new teachers will go through:
Training in
systematic and reflective teaching methods
Observation sessions before teaching independently
Ongoing check-ins and guidance
