Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part Timer Floor Server to join our team.

As a Floor Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring tables are clean and tidy upon guest arrival, presenting menus, and serving food and beverages efficiently. Excels at taking orders, serving food and beverages, and accurately handling transactions.

We are looking for someone who is quick on their feet, both literally and metaphorically, and possesses a polite and friendly attitude. Key responsibilities for this role include:

Serving guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.

Providing information to help guests make food and beverage selections.

Presenting ordered choices promptly and efficiently.

Maintaining the dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.

Preparing the dining room by setting tables with decorations, condiments, cocktail napkins, service plates, and utensils.

Protecting the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.

Assisting patrons with food and beverage selections by suggesting courses, explaining chef's specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.

Transmitting orders to the bar and kitchen, accurately recording guests' choices, and identifying any special dietary needs or requests.

Keeping kitchen staff informed by noting the timing of meal progression.

Serving orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from the bar and kitchen, along with accompaniments and condiments.

Responding to additional patron requirements by inquiring about needs and observing the dining process.

Maintaining table settings by removing completed courses, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to guest spills or other special needs.

Concluding the dining experience by acknowledging their choice of restaurant and inviting guests to return.

Obtaining revenues by totalling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to the host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Base Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week
