& Requirements
a) Provide individual counselling to pupils being referred
- Conduct face-to-face counselling
- Consult Teachers/ CCE HOD/ School Leaders regarding pupils being counselled
- Work with families of pupils being counselled
- Conduct home visits (with school personnel) where necessary
- Refer pupils and their families to community resources for specialised assistance where necessary
- Provide regular feedback to the school administration and teachers concerned on the work done with the pupils counselled
c) Conduct relevant groupwork/workshops/activities for pupils with special emotional needs
d) Provide group-counselling to pupils being referred
Counselling-related activities:
a) Documentation of cases and all counselling work done
b) Be aware of and network/liaise with relevant social service agencies which are not specifically related to cases
c) Reaching out to pupils and parents for rapport building and creating understanding of counselling services
d) Conduct training related to social and emotional development of pupils for teachers or parents
Salary : $30 to $40 Per hour
Every Tuesday and Wednesday: 8.30am to 12.30pm.
