To work with the Form Teachers, the School Development Team, other school staff, parents and relevant external agencies to support the students . To ensure proper documentation of counselling records such as individual records and summary of cases . To share counselling tips with teachers and other stakeholders . Concerns such as stress, mental health, socio-emotional well-being and other counselling issues of students counselled are appropriately addressed . Students are able to learn coping strategies and apply them when needed . There should be monitoring, communications with stakeholders concerned, follow up and referrals where needed to support the students Requirements . Min. diploma or equivalent in counselling . At least 1 year of experience in counselling teenagers in Secondary School . Received ongoing supervision from a trained clinical supervisor Working hours . Total working hours per week: 18 hrs / per week . The total estimated contract hours are as follow: - Terms 1 to 4 (excluding school holidays) = 666 hours - School Holidays = 14 hours - Total estimated contract hours = 680 hours . Officer will attend to cases on different working days of the week (Monday to Friday) . Due to the job nature of counselling work, the number of hours stated is estimated, the vendor shall charge the school based on the actual number of hours worked . Total serving week: Terms 1 to 4 = 37 weeks) . During School Vacation Period: March/June/Sept/Nov - School will give 5 days' advance notice to request for services of School Counsellors doing school vacation. - Total duration required for school holidays will be 14 hours for the whole year . Service required during school holiday and examination periods, may require to adjust the working hours . Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays . Due to the nature of counselling work, which may include home visits, case management will require some flexibility in working hours Working locations . Yishun (School environment) Additional info: .
