After all, it is the heart that makes a house a home. We're looking for passionate, genuine and thoughtful hard-workers to join us at our Cluny Court store. If you're a team player who takes pride in putting a smile on people's faces, readily goes above and beyond your job to build community with customers and fellow team members, and is able to keep a level head when things get busy, we'd love for you to join the family. Prior retail or F&B experience is preferable but not necessary. Candidates should have the right to work in Singapore. Responsibilities:

• Greeting and serving customers
• Provide high quality of customer service to guests
• Follow SOP on food & beverage preparation and order system
• Serving customer of foods and beverage
• Ensure sufficient stocks for daily operations
• Minimize wastage and spoilage of food ingredients
• Report for duty on time and neatly groomed.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Ensure that work stations are set up before the shift commences.
• Have full knowledge of the menu to recommend specific items to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work areas.

Requirements:

• Min. 1 year of service experience is preferred but not necessary
• Training provided to those without experience
• Good work ethics and willing to learn
• Detailed, energetic and highly motivated
• Warm and cheerful personality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
• Able to work in a team
• Must have initiative
• Must be able to work overtime occasionally
• Singaporeans are encouraged to apply

About Plain Vanilla Bakery

Plain Vanilla Bakery it started out with a simple, earnest ambition to create and share some good old-fashioned cake with our local community; cake that was made with real wholesome ingredients, and was familiar and comforting. In a world of mass-produced confections, we wanted to go back to basics and bake like our mums and grandmothers used to – moist red velvet cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream, apple pound cake drizzled with caramel, decadent chocolate brownies, warm and fudgey on the inside.
