The Math Classroom, Singapore\'s fastest-growing Competition Math and PSLE Math training centre, is looking for part time teachers to take classes in our Katong branch and Online.
We have weekday and weekend slots. We especially need teachers to teach on:
Katong
Monday to Friday: 2.30 - 4.30pm, 4.45 - 6.45pm
Saturday and Sunday: 9 - 11am, 11.15am - 1.15pm, 2 - 4pm, 4.15 - 6.15pm
- Teachers who take 2 or more classes a day and work on multiple days including at least one weekend will be preferred
Online
Friday: 2.30 - 4.30pm, 4.45 - 6.45pm
Saturday and Sunday: 9 - 11am, 11.15am - 1.15pm, 2 - 4pm, 4.15 - 6.15pm
- Teachers who take 2 or more classes a day and work on at least one weekend will be preferred
Our ideal teacher is:
Talented in mathematics and is able to solve math questions.
Skillful and resourceful in teaching. He/She consistently finds the best ways to explain mathematical concepts clearly and ensures that his/her students achieve 100% understanding in the lesson.
An effective communicator and positive influence with primary school-age children, and can develop a strong rapport with them.
It will be an added bonus if the teacher has:
Previous Math Olympiad experience
Previous teaching experience
A math-related degree
Experience teaching GEP students
Is a current/former MOE Teacher
