Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a sales, partner, or channel manager role.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and service provider ecosystems and business models.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in SaaS or cloud IT infrastructure sales, partner management or technical experience.
  • Experience with the cloud partner ecosystem, System Integrators (SIs) or Service Providers (SPs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), telcos, and web or other partners.
  • Ability to work in and through a cross-functional organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate analysis into actionable plans.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, and ability to present to all level audiences.
  • Excellent leadership skills to drive partner growth and positively contribute to the team's culture.

Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile, and collaborative. On this team, you will drive Google Cloud business relationships by analyzing partner business performance, identifying methods of increasing partner and Google returns, pitching ideas to and identifying opportunities within partners, and coordinating across Google teams to deliver. In this role, you'll combine partner management with business development, and you'll manage business relationships with key partners and prospects to develop areas of collaboration, growth initiatives, and lines of business. As a Partner Sales Manager, you will deliver business growth commitments across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) by working collaboratively with partner team, business teams, and partner network. You will work with key (Small/Medium Business) SMB-focused partners to develop their Google Cloud business via business and marketing campaigns, trainings, and enablement.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver partner business growth commitments across GCP. Develop and execute SMB growth plans for partners in assigned territory, starting from an annual plan with aligned goals, investments, and capabilities.
  • Drive funnel building, progress, and closing across the partner ecosystem and work with partners to manage agreements with the customers.
  • Build relationships from C-level to representatives at key partners.
  • Manage business performance of partners and develop strategies to meet goals in the market. Identify issues and opportunities, test, analyze, and execute on business initiatives. Report on progress regularly.
  • Use quarterly business reviews for overall progress and regular engagement to drive day-to-day improvement.
