Partnership Manager Stars (Student Care Association Republic of Singapore)

About Us:

Student Care Association Republic of Singapore (STARS) is a non-profit trade association formed in 2019 to represent the interests of the student care industry and middle childhood education in Singapore. Members of STARS comprise of teachers and professionals in the industry, aspiring middle childhood teachers, community, and businesses.

We work closely with educators, researchers, parents, schools, ministry and other community members to raise the quality standards of the middle childhood care and education in our country.

Objectives:

  • Advocate industry transformation, personal development, and competitiveness by improving standards and professionalism in the student care industry.
  • Foster partnerships and good relations among industry members to support initiatives promoting sustainable growth.
  • Provide a platform for members to share ideas, exchange knowledge and experiences, and discuss common issues.
  • Present the student care community\'s interests and views to relevant government bodies.
  • Facilitate and negotiate legislative measures affecting the student care industry.
  • Endorse, maintain, and protect the quality and uniformity in the middle childhood care and education framework.
Responsibilities:

Partnership Development:
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with educational institutions, businesses, and organizations to further the objectives of STARS.
  • Collaborate with potential partners to create initiatives that support talent development and industry growth.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing members, educators, researchers, parents, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between STARS and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Advocacy and Representation:
  • Represent STARS in meetings with government bodies, industry forums, and other relevant platforms.
  • Advocate for industry-related policies and measures that align with STARS\' mission and vision.
Event Coordination:
  • Organize and coordinate events, workshops, and conferences that facilitate knowledge exchange and networking among industry professionals.
Collaborative Initiatives:
  • Work closely with members to identify common issues and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Support and facilitate cooperative projects that contribute to the growth and development of the student care industry.
Generating Revenue:
  • Implement diverse strategies like organizing conferences and training programs to ensure financial sustainability and promote advancement.
  • Explore partnerships with educational institutions, businesses, and government agencies for collaborative projects and sponsorships.
  • Lead fundraising campaigns, grant applications, and sponsorships to secure additional funding for projects aligning with the organization\'s mission.
Qualifications:

Educational Background:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, or related field.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with the education sector and a passion for advancing middle childhood education.
Communication Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate STARS\' mission and objectives effectively.
Networking Abilities:
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Team Player:
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve common goals.
Initiative and Creativity:
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and proposing innovative solutions.
Working Days: Mondays \xe2\x80\x93 Fridays.

Location: 6 Woodlands Square.

Salary: 3k \xe2\x80\x93 4k.
