Job Title: Part-Time Art Instructor Company: Artify Studio Location: Singapore

Are you a creative and passionate individual who loves art and work that makes a difference in people\'s lives? Do you have a knack for teaching and making learning fun?

Artify Studio, a cool and colourful arts education company, is on the lookout for a Part-Time Art Instructor to join our awesome team. In this role, you\'ll have the opportunity to share your love of art with children learners (4-16 years old), and help them unleash their inner creativity.

What you will be doing:

• Conduct fun and engaging art classes and workshops for our kids (4-16 years old)
• Get your hands paint-y by preparing art materials and tools for classes and workshops
• Share your artistic expertise and provide friendly guidance and support to our kids as they explore different mediums and techniques
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment that inspires creativity and exploration
• Keep our studio space clean, organised, and inspiring (while dancing to your favourite tunes)
• Support the team in basic administrative tasks as required for the kids\xe2\x80\x99 classes (like printing of images, photo-taking of students at work, marking attendance, etc.)
• To provide feedback to students and communicate with parents/guardians as needed
• Work once a week with us (on a Saturday or Sunday) for 2-3 art classes

Hit us up if the following describes you:

• Have some art or design background, and know how to draw and paint
• You\xe2\x80\x99re really good at explaining things to kids
• You\'re a friendly and patient people-person who enjoys working with students of all ages and skill levels (even the grumpy ones)
• At least 1 year of teaching experience (however, those without may still be considered for our Teaching Assistant role!)
• A passion for the arts and a love for sharing your knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to adapt to different situations
• Detail-oriented and well-organised
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Proactive, self-motivated, and work well independently with minimal supervision
• Able to work on a once weekly part-time basis for 1 year, starting from Mar 2023

These are great to have (but not compulsory):

• Education background in Fine Arts, Design, Art Education, Animation, or a related field
• Some work experience in customer service roles (Could be anything! Tell us about your previous part-time roles, temp jobs, side hustles, volunteer work)
• A great sense of humour and an infectious personality that makes everyone feel at ease
• We work closely in a small cosy team, so it would be great if you have some schedule flexibility for additional shifts to cover for other teammates as and when needed (like when they are on vacation, and this will be remunerated, of course!)
