Part Time Autism Teacher

Job Description
Your primary responsibility would be to conduct 1-to-1 sessions for preschool and school-age students.
Occasionally, you may be asked to conduct small group instructions for 2-3 students or toilet training.
Being able to work on weekends would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities Daily:
- Take data of students\xe2\x80\x99 learning each session.
- Take behavioural data of students.
- Analyze data to refine subsequent teaching methodologies to best suit students\xe2\x80\x99 learning needs.
- Document students\xe2\x80\x99 mastery of IEP goals using videos.
- Select videos to send to parents.
- Attend case management meetings.
- Design teaching resources to support students\xe2\x80\x99 acquisition of IEP goals.
- Develop IEPs.
- Write progress reports.
- At least 1 year of experience teaching students with Autism or
- Graduated with a diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- Possesses a good command of written and spoken language.
- Adopts an educational philosophy which believes that all students can learn with effective teaching methodologies.
- Highly motivated to improve the learning and performance of students.
- Possesses a positive attitude towards frequent performance feedback.
- Independent and self-directed.
- Paid an hourly rate, monthly.
- 3-6 month probationary period.
- 1-2 year contract will be offered upon confirmation.
