with a diploma in Interior Design or a related field to join our commercial carpentry team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will support the execution and coordination of interior fit-out projects in commercial settings, ensuring design accuracy, project efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Project Management:
Coordinate and manage part-time commercial carpentry projects from design to completion.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution.
Assist in preparing work schedules, cost estimations, and project documentation.
Monitor project progress and resolve on-site or design-related issues.
Conduct site visits and provide weekly progress reports.
Interior Design:
Develop conceptual designs and space planning for commercial interiors.
Prepare design presentations, material boards, and technical drawings.
Work with clients to refine design intent and incorporate feedback.
Ensure all design solutions align with budget, compliance, and functional requirements.
Source materials and finishes relevant to carpentry and interior fit-outs.
Requirements
Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Experience in commercial carpentry or interior fit-out projects is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools.
Excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Availability to work flexible part-time hours, including occasional site visits.
