Job Description

As a Part-Time Curriculum Content Creator (Primary Math & Science), you will be part of a pioneering team that creates and curates curriculum for primary school Math and Science.

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

Conceptualising and producing original content and design work for Math and Science tuition materials and resources Conducting research relating to the primary school Science and identifying corresponding effective teaching and learning tools Editing and proofreading of materials and resources Re-structuring, organising and archiving content for curriculum and training syllabuses Creating designs and infographics for teacher-to-parent communications and other platforms of communication

Remuneration

$12 per hour

Job Requirement and Commitment

Work

on-site once a week on Tuesdays (around 11 am - 1 pm)

, at least once a month, during the first few months of the role For other days of the week - work from home / remotely, with occasional in-person meetings or training sessions where necessary Attend Zoom calls for communication and training purposes where necessary Work at least 5 hours a week (allocation of hours within week is flexible and can be discussed)*
Commit for

at least 6 months

Own a personal working laptop with MS Office (Basic designing software is a bonus)*
Has an aesthetic sense to do designing work using tools such as Canva Technologically and digitally savvy, preferably well-versed softwares and apps that allow for efficient creation of Math & Science curriculum

O-level fresh graduates / Polytechnic / JC students and University undergraduates are most welcomed to apply.

Qualities / Expectations

Proven academic excellence in Math and Science subjects (i.e. Distinction grades) Well-versed and familiar with current PSLE Math and Science syllabus Have an in-depth understanding of common struggles / misconceptions, with ready hacks and tricks to help (not required but a plus) Responsible and responsive Be contactable at all times during working hours Have a joyful and energetic attitude Teachable, open to feedback and quick to change Willing to go the extra mile Deliver work with high level of excellence, needing minimal edits
