Part-Time Lecturer for IE4728 Enterprise Network Design
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-Time Lecturer for Enterprise Network Design. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate elective course commencing in January 2026.
This 13-week course is a specialized area in computer and intelligent systems. Year 3 students who is in Major Prescribed Electives and Final year students can choose to take this Design Elective.
This course aims to provide you the knowledge for designing, setting up and managing an IP based enterprise network. Students will acquire necessary practical skills in planning and configuring an IP network in a simulated environment and to validate the operations of the network.
Students will participate in hands on lab sessions, through creating the network and access control lists using Packet Tracer network simulator and IPv4 network setting up and IPv6 tunnelling.
Applicants should possess minimally a recognized MEng degree and preferably PhD, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related field, have extensive industry and/or academic experience with a passion for teaching. Instructors are expected to excel at teaching and work closely with students.
