Job Description

We are a local lifestyle boutique (@thepalmpress) seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented retail associate for the store. Our products feature a mix of in-house design & production, as well as working with other local & international brands to bring in exclusive products for our customers.

Responsibilities: Identify customers\' needs and recommend suitable shop items that best satisfy their needs. Assisting customers in locating desired shop items. Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases. Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines. Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.

Working hours: The shifts are usually 11-4 OR 3/4-8.30pm (4-5hours shift) in the beginning and may extend to a full day shift (11-8pm) once you have enough experience in the shop if you\'d prefer. 2-4 days a week preferred.

Store Location: Wheelock Place, Orchard Road.

Renumeration: $10-$15 per hour, depending on experience.

SALES EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED :) A FRIENDLY PERSONALITY AND SOMEONE WHO ENJOYS TALKING TO CUSTOMERS IS A MUST!

Customer service is our top priority so we would prefer candidates with prior sales experience and who enjoy speaking to people from all over as we do have a fair share of tourists as well!

Retirees with sales experience and initiative are also welcome!
